The hallmark of the preserved natural habitat at RiverStone, is the Myra Murphy Memorial Nature Trail extending almost a mile down the center of the peninsula. Named in honor of a member of the Murphy family - the developers of the River Landing - the young spirit of Myra Murphy is forever memorialized along this scenic route, accentuated by a series of serpentine wooden foot bridges over creeks and protected wetlands.

From season to season, the trail provides a spectacle of color created by varieties of wildflowers and lush vegetation including regal stands of native ferns. Bird-watchers will be fascinated by the abundance of species here. Horticulture lovers will delight that many trees and specimen plantings along the trail are marked with signs revealing the specie's name. It's all a part of the River Landing's continuing attention to quality and detail making every aspect of a RiverStone lifestyle so naturally rewarding.
